Okay, you can see in the picture what I'm talking about. The muffler seems to come a little too far down below the actual body. This doesn't look right to me. Don't you agree?

And also, you can't see it in the picture, but it is very close (if not rubbing) to the actually body.

Should I take her to a muffler shop and get that rear exaust fixed up? The mufflers also don't want to stay straight either. I think she needs to go to the muffler shop. Yes?

most likely a bad clamp or hanger, I have side pipes so I don't know what mufflers are supposed to look like :L
crawl under there with a 1/2 or 9/16 socket and tighten things up:D

Did that. Didn't fix the problem. :( Any other ideas?

I'm guessing you have a hanger missing or broke, none of the catalogs I have show where the hangers go. Can you turn the muffler, sometimes an incorrectly sized or placed clamp will not hold properly. A heavy duty clamp will have a 5/16 U bolt will hold better then a standard with a 1/4 U bolt

Does the other side look the same way?? A lot of times if they are not stock or direct sized replacements, or the installer doesn't care or watch what they are doing you can end up with the mufflers and the entire exhuast system looking like dog dodo ;)

Yes, it does look pretty much the same way on the other side. Not so drastic, but it does hang like that. What do you think? Something the muffler shop can fix?

Have you though about a rice-like ground effects kit? I've seen some great work done with carbdoard and duct tape...would hide that sagging muffler problem & probably give you 15HP at the same time!

Bust seriously, how does the other muffler hang? Have you compared the two to see where the problem may lie?

They both pretty much look like that in the picture. And I even took off the mufflers and the "L" pipe and still nothing. Doesn't seem to be much give in it.

i had to replace my y-pipe on my 1980 vette and i put dynomax ultra flow mufflers on instead of stock and it did the same thing. what i did was just a matter of trail and error. loosen the clamps on the back of the muffler and the ones going to the y-pipe, if you dont have a torch to heat up the pipe, u can use a block of wood and jack under the y-pipe to get it to bend upwards. i shouldnt hurt the exhaust pipe, its stronger than you think it is but be careful anyways. after that you will get the back of the muffler to hang a little better. now you prob have to bend the rear hangers to pull the tail pipe upwards, if you have a vise it helps but dont put it too close to your rear bumper. if those are performance mufflers you can only get it so good, im pickier than picky and im happy how i got mine to sit. id send you pics of mine but im away at school, sorry. good luck.
