Rear Hatch Seal

The seal around my rear hatch is in excellent condition except at the leading corner on each side where the two pieces are glued together. They have separated at that seam. Has anyone found a glue or adhesive that I can use for repair. I know there are a lot of them on the market but I thought some of you might have repaired these seals and could let me know what works and what does not. No sense re-inventing the wheel when some of you have the answer.

It will need to sit for 24 hours but GOOP really bonds strong and remains flexable. It will require pulling up one section to take the tension off the seal and the hatch will need to remain up till dry.
