Rear Speakers

Does anyone know if the C5 coupes rear speakers are waterproof. On my 98 when I open the rear hatch in the rain a lot of water gets on them.

I very seriously doubt if they are. THat defect was corrected with the '00, I believe. The solution is buy a replacement strip of weatherstripping, thats a little bit longer on each section above the speakers. Definitely keep water out of your speakers.

That solution wasn't 100% effective though . If alot of water is sitting there it still can get the speakers . Its best to towel the hatch off first . Cliff
