Crebo,

Here is a Past Thread that SARGE81 gives a very good brief description on changing the bolts and bushings ;)

Takes longer to jack the car up and get the tires off.

If you are putting a steel spring on you can use vice grips directly on the spring to hold the jack in place.

You may need to cut the old bolts off. Mine were rusted tight and a hack saw went through them easily.

Hey,

I'm about to change my rear shocks too. Not trying to be cheap but does anyone know the differ between--- or have a comparison of---- or use the KYB shock. I'm trying tocompare to the REACTEK.

I know there are good threads...that will help also. I was looking for more recent thread that I can't seem to find.....some thing about how wonderful???? not sure.

But any help will be appreciated.

They are used to adjust ride height. As I recall it is the opposite of what you would expect. The further out the bolt the lower, hence the longer ones, the car rides and the tighter the higher the car rides.

So if I wanted a factory ride height then I should get the stock length ??
