My 64 conv sits about 1" lower in the back than the front. I"m due for a new rear spring and I was wondering if the spring itself will solve the problem or do I need to get the adjustable bolts for the spring as well?

So as always I have a few questions first.

How old are the front springs.Does it seem high in the front compaired to others midyears? or definatley you think the rear spring is wooped and needs a replacement.

post a picture of how it sits on level ground.

No the front looks correct . . I have no idea how old the front or rear spring (s) are . . seems to handle well . . I guess the question becomes how do you tell if you need a new rear spring? I suppose I should just replace it and see how it looks then . . I just didnt know if I should go with the adjustable bolts.

If your not into factory correct.I would suggest the mono fiberglass rear spring.I had one in my car when I purchased it and it was a perfect ride.NO jounce or NO swiay

If your going with an original stle spring then the adjustable (longer style)bolt allow you to relax the spring tention by not having to tighten up as much on them.

Actually the spring will deflect the same amount (the car weight hasn't changed, right... :-) all you do is move the body up or down with bolt length changes. I don't know if you're into correct/stock, etc, but if you add a spacer between the bottom of the spring, and the nut you'll raise the rear (or use shorter bolts of course).
