I want to repaint the black on the rear window reveal molding/ trim. I think I can do a better job if I take the trim complety off then reinstall. But I've read somewhere that if you break one of the 21 retaining clips while taking the trim off that the only way you can replace them is by taking the glass out, them replace clip and reinstall the glass. Is this true? I don't want to take the molding off if this may happen. :w

why not just tape around it????

tape it off rattle can it flat black-its easy been there done it:w.

Again: I think I can do a better job if I take the trim complety off. My plans were to strip the old paint complety off, as I'm going to do with the rocker panels. Yes I do know it will be easier just to tape it. :) So, does anyone know the answere to my question????
