Rebuilt Steering Box

1968 Convert - Just recieved my refurbished steering box via mail and am going to install in a couple weeks. The rebuilt item looks clean as a whistle in a natural finish. Any recommendations on coating this before install? Should I paint or usethe POR treatment to preserve or just let her stay naked...

I would paint it with primer and probably black spray paint. You can use the grey natual look paint if you like but if you leave her naked she will look like an old woman in a few months.

I POR 15 them, then top coat with cast blast and clear. They look nice when I'm done. I don't believe in the NCRS directives, if you do then you might leave it alone. I always liked functionality vs points.
