Man oh man, is this brochure in great shape. It's about 11 out 10 in condition! It's absolutely perfect as far as I can tell. I plan on scanning it on one of the high quality scanners at work sometime this week. It's just like the one on Callawayownersgroup (+ a price list he sent me).

I'm going to do 1 of 2 plans...
either scan the silver C8 pic (see example below) from the brochure in at the maximum optical resolution of the scanner, convert it to 330 DPI while retaining the pixel size, and taking it to kinkos and having it printed on the fiery at 8x10... or... I'll have it printed on the poster/banner printer. It really depends on whether or not moire patterns develop during scanning.

I believe one of you purchased the Le Mans press pack from PennyVette, so I'm sure you will be equally impressed with the condition. Was it you Critt?

Anyway, I noticed something interesting about the US version compared to the Italian version on ebay. One of the pages in the Italian version has different pictures, and a wheel set I didn't know was available for C8s.

I'm very interested in a high quality scan of this page with the black C8 if someone could provide one (300 DPI, TIFF format with LZW compression). I'd even be interested in buying a good to excellent condition Italian brochure if anyone has one on hand. The guy on ebay is asking far too much, and his looks covered in scuffs.

Speaking of scans/brochures... Does anyone have this?

It's yet another piece of over priced literature from ebay, and I just can't bear paying $10 per page. Anybody have scans of it, or one for sale for cheaper? I've been waiting nearly a year for this guy to drop his price from $19.99 and he won't budge. :crazy

nice score Brangeta,

the $19,99 C8 brochure is also available for the Speedster but I have the same thoughts about the money, it isn't even a official callaway released item.

for example, to obtain the original Callaway catalogs I paid BIG bucks but they are definately worth their money.

about this 2 page folded card I am not sure.

Interesting trivia

I learned recently that the Old Lyme green that is on the "Otis Chandler" C8 is different than the Old Lyme green of the first speedster. The speedster is with a green base and the C8 had a gray base coat, thus the hue is different. My eyes cannot tell, but.....just trivia...

You lost me there buddy :L Whatcha talkin' bout?
