recovering dash with leather

have a good dash but 1 crack down the middle thinking about covering it with leather anybody ever tried it thanks

Welcome onto the boards there...

Could be an opportunity to get creative. My roof liner needed butter (it was toast), so we put in my college logo in place.

Lots of flat real estate on the '86 dash - you could really get creative with C4 logo! Maybe do some experimenting with vinyl, just in case...
