A fellow enthusiast ;) pointed out the other day that the Movie "Diamond Girl" prominently featured a red Aerobody Convertible. Thanks to Tivo, I got to record it a fast forward through all but the Callaway car scenes.

There are 8 scenes with the car. I got to save selected video clips of only those scenes :D . To save you all the pain of trying to see the movie to get a glimpse of the car, I have posted some video stills here.

The car seems to be a later year Twin Turbo (since I can't see the square pad on the passengers side of the dash). It has 3 pc OZ, as on my car and the Speedsters. It definitely has slotted/drilled rotors which are visible. I can't make out if it has Brembo's. And radio antenna in the rear is a Fixed Mast antenna.

The movie was filmed in California's NAPA valley. The tag sticker shows a year of 94.

Luigi,

Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to show all the Aerobody footgage/pics from the movie. When did that movie come out and where was it filmed at? Looks like Napa valley from the vineyard scene. Need to purchase the movie now!

Eric,

Ancient Chinese secret :D .

Johnny,

I have no idea when the movie came out since I already deleted it (and the metadata) from Tivo. The name of the movie is Diamond Girl and it is a Harlequin Romance, be forewarned :eyerole . I would post the video clips I extracted but they are in 640x480.MPEG format which is about .75 MB per second. The car shows up in 8~9 scenenes, totalling in 195 Megabytes worth. If someone has that kind of space to spare, I'll gladly post it.

Looks like the movie was done in 1998...

...I tried to warn you not to have high expectations - The car was the star;LOL
