Refinished steering wheels any good ?

Search doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone tried the rebuilt steering wheels offered by ecklers, mid-america etc. ? How did you like it ?

If it's just the outside edge that's bad on yours, have you considered a decent cover? I'm quite happy with the Wheelskins I bought about a year ago. Two-tone black and tan leather to match the interior, easy install, and about $35 shipped. Did a writeup in the KB.

It does not cover the spokes, though, so if they're messed up this isn't a good solution.

Hey theres a few places that recover those wheels.I use a guy here in the Atlanta area.The place is called Corvette Originals.Mid America and eclers just send them out,they dont do them in house.:beer

They are great and if the guy is Chuck Pelton. He may be the same guy who sold me one at Carlile Penn. Not only did sell a wheel he installed it on my car in about ten minutes. I think i paid 175 for wheel.
