I was looking through some old posts, and saw one from last year on Rejex and how great it was. I looked it up and it sounds like pretty good stuff, but I was wondering if anyone that put it on has had problems with it over the year. Is it still looking good? any crazy paint issues with it?
here's a site for it if you want to look http://www.e-tackle.com/rejeX.htm

Also....different question, but while i'm thinking about it....
My front bumper is looking kind of dull when compared to the rest of the car; not as much of the glossy wet look:drool: . I guess after 7 years of road crap bouncing off of it that's bound to happen. Is there anything I can use to get it to shine up again that won't cost too too much?

Thanks
Chris

I tried the Rejexx. I thought it gave an excellent shine, and stuff didnt seem to stick to it.
I was a little new to really detailing a car at the time, I had kept a few cars clean and waxed, but nothing like we do for these babies (vettes in general :-) ). So I was a little more critical of the swirl marks or any small imperfections in the paint on my 2001 black C5.
I found that the Rejexx, being so thin, sort of enhanced any of those marks rather then "filling" and thus hiding them.
I suppose if you started with a finish that was smooth as glass (without the wax that is, the instructions for the Rejexx state that you should remove all wax prior to application) you would get an excellent result.
Mine was not that smooth, so I went a different route with a wax product.

I've read several posts on a BMW website (forums.e60.net)for new 5 series owners who swear by Rejex for its longevity. Usually applied every 3-4 months (depending on where you park you ride), it keeps on protecting and shining.

As soon as I finish the waxes I have, I'll be purchasing Rejex.

Note: Rejex instructions advise to apply it over a totally wax free paint surface. There's nothing said about applying other products over Rejex to enhance the finish. I do this all the time with similar products and the results are nothing short of amazing. Just let the inital product set 24 hours to harden before applying other products.

I've been using ReJex for over a year now and probably have 5+ coats on the car. NOTHING sticks to it and that is something given that the Love Bug is Florida's state vehicular PITA!

I can wholly endorse this product!

You do need to strip your current wax. As for applying anything over it, the instructions tell you that to do so is pretty much a wasted effort. I usually just go over the car with a water mist bottle and a micro-fiber towel.

I have used a little Detailer but I’m not really sure that it did all that much good.

Rejex is thin and it is not intended to fill small scratches or swirls so I’ll use scratch-x first if necessary.

Look on-line for purchases. It should be around $14 +/- with free delivery.
