Does anybody think the emergency brake lever is in the way when you "get in" and "get out" of your C4 Corvette (when your brake is set)?
My foot (feet) seems to hit it constantly.
My question. Can it be moved? to the middle (like the C3) or to the floor like my GMC Sierra? or something???

It would be a real pain in the Caboose!~!! There shouldn't be a problem with it if you fold the lever back down after setting the E Brake!~!!:thumb

Yes,the lever designed to fold back down after the brake is set for easier entrance and exit of the vehicle!~!! ;)

:D

(snip)

Once the brake is set, push the handle back down to its retracted position and then it will not present such an obstacle.

After having issues with tooth wear on the E-brake ratchet, I formed the habit of pulling the lever up to set and release, not just popping the button for release or dragging the stopover those teeth.

The lever has never been an issue for me, at 6'3" and husky. :w

Me either....I'm about the same size...6'3" headed toward "husky" and getting stiff and old.

If I was climbing over that brake handle sticking straight up:ugh, I'd be bitchin too !:beer Going out the other side might be easier!
