Just out of curiousity how many of you have ever moved your batteries to one of those trunk compartments? How hard was it to run battery cables way back there and what would the cost be for battery cables of this length?

Are you saying your battery isn't back there?

To the best of my knowledge thats where they go:

Nope mine isn't back there. My ecm and relays are but the battery is in the front of the car. Has a ultima or something like that not sure of it's name. But at any rate its just sitting on like a aftermarket battery tray type thing under the hood. ... See I only asked because when I convert to serpentine belt drive and electric cooling fans there wont be anymore room for it. So I thought it might have been originally up here as well.

So actually this is good news means I don't have to think this one out on how to make it work back there. Guess I just need to find real long battery cable and some factory mounts and some diagrams on how the cables originally ran.
