aloha everyone,
i do this frequintly because over here your a/c is always on during the day, check your drain on the firewall so it wont back up,you all know what happens next......
later,Todd.:w

Please fill me in...

where's the drain, how do I check it, and what happens next? I run my a/c constantly in Florida - don't want any problems if they can be prevented!!

Thanks!
Lauren

hey Lauren,
hawaii and florida probably have similar wheather.high humidity!you probably get plenty attention, female in vette in florida nights will the top off, good for you.anyway, the drain is hard to get to,the smaller your arm the better.i get mine all scratched up.it is on the passengers side, behind the head, coming out of the fire-wall.its very small and has a sharp 90* angle down.i take mine off and reem out the hole with a paper clip.squeeze the hose side a bunch to smash up the scale or silica, what ever that crap is.if you can get the hose out and blow it out, even better.
if the drain backs up,you will notice your passenger floor board soaking wet.if you didnt know, the computer is at the foot board under the carpet.some people jack up the car and go from under neith.my car is so low it takes forever to jack up,so i go from the top,you will need a flashlight, and a little patience.every summer the posts start up about wet passenger floor.some get it worse.good luck,
later,Todd.

Good information....

I would have never thought of that! We have an oxygen sensor to replace this weekend, I'll do this too while the hood's up!
