Remote Start w/Carb

I'm looking to install a keyless entry car alarm and would like remote start. I can't seem to find one that doesn't require fuel injection. Anyone know of one that will work with carbs, or how to make one work?

It's a great feature to have! I have it one my '87 Monte and I love it!

.... run out real fast and set the choke, then run back in and hit the remote starter button !

Maybe conversion to an electric choke, but I don't know if those still require hitting the accelerator to get it on the fast idle cam.

you still have to punch the accelerator to set the high idle. I don't think you can make work very well.

which I think is just for generators, but might be able to be applied to a car. I dunno...

Remote Start

You still have the same problem. If you don't get it up on the high idle cam and set the choke it won't start.
