Removing Seat Cushions-81

New seat covers are here...Whats the trick for removing the back and lower seat pads? Never had them out before and would hate to break something.

Please let us know your thoughts and experience on your seat project. I've been debating to order the cushons and give it a try too. My drivers side has a small (getting bigger) tear along the stitching on the bottom. I have the 2" bolster side, NUT did his and went to the 4" bolster sides and suggested to stay with the 2".... which one did you get?

Seat Covers

Rare 81...I was originally just going to purchas already new covered foame cushions...but the more I thought about it decided to have my OE seats re covered. My foams really in good shape and the only soft spot is on the drivers left side lower bolster...ya know how that takes a beating getting in and out of the car.
Anyhow the fella redoing my Boat seats is giving me such a price break on them, I'm going to let him recover my OE Vette seats. I'll just take them to him...and then I'm going to just use the passenger seat for the drivers side now, I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the out come. And be saving some $$$ to boot!
