Notice a drip coming from my fuel tank of my 84 about a month ago which yesterday turned into somewhat of a puddle. I know it is pretty inexpensive to repair the tank but I would have to take the tank out anyway. What do you guys recommend (replace or repair)? Also where can I purchase a new tank other than Corvette America$ or Eckler$ ?;shrug

If it's a rust hole then definitely replace it. Might try e-bay for a new one.
Good luck

When it comes to something as dangerous as fuel that can spark, definitely don't go the least expensive way. Replace the tank.

I don't believe tanks are that expensive. At my cousins garage I see them changing tanks on a regular basis.
Not sure where they get them. I believe even one of the wrecking (junk) yards provide them. Check with a parts store or a dealers parts dept. Or several dealers till they furnish some names of replacement tank facilities.
Ck the internet in your area.

I just received two filters for my kitchen stove exhaust fan.:)
YEH They were free. :D:D The box was large enough to put a gas tank in :chuckle it but it was full of paper and the , thin metal filters were rite at the top of the box with the thin frame bent. On both. Also corner of the box was crushed.:bash I was able to straighten them for use. :D
