I ended up breaking the lower spot welded bracket off the stock engine oil dipstick tube...now it has little holes and no support at the base.

Anyone have a good replacement?

Thanks

I think the 79 is on the driver's side??? If on the passenger side, then it should fit. Send me a price.

Thanks

I would say, good luck replacing it!
I removed mine when putting the body back on. After that took me some houres to get the oil stick support back in because all the stuff is in the way there. But as you will, I got it in two :)

Greetings Peter

I ended up getting a Mr, Gasket (made in china) chrome dipstick. With modifications I was able to get it to work. So I am back on the road again.
