Anyone replaced a front differential mount? Looking it over and it looks like I will have to drop the driveshaft in order to get the bolt out the top. Didn't start job yet but just trying to get some info before starting.

I am pretty sure you can get it with the driveshaft in, but you might have to pry the front of the diff over a tad to lift the bolt enough to get the bushing out.

I was told once that this was an easy replacement. For some reason, I did not believe that and had a shop near work do it. Turns out they did have to disconnect the drive shaft in order to lift the differential.

Yup your right you have to drop the driveshaft or you can't push the bolt up far enough to get it out.
Also after you put your car on jack stands you will have to jack up the rear end a hair to relieve the pressure on the mount so that you can get it out.

Replace it with a poly mount so that you don't have to fool with it again.
