Replacing rear bumper emblem

I'm in the process of having my rear facia painted on my '84. After I removed the bumper, I began removing the Corvette emblem and found it is connected two different ways. First is a rubber tube in three places that goes through the bumper and has push-on caps holding it in place. The second is it uses a sticky-backed foam as well.

I need to replace the emblem and found it in Ecklers, Mid America Motorworks and Corvette Central. Corvette Central was the least expensive for an 84-90 which has a silver background and black letters. The price was $35.00 where everyone else was $39.00.

Has anyone replaced their bumper emblem before? Do all of these come with the rubber tubes and sticky back foam? I want to make sure I get the right thing as I'd like to keep it all origional.

Anyone have suggestions on what to look for or if one product is better in quality than another one?

Thanks,
John

I don't know about the rubber pieces, but they all have sticky backs I believe.

It comes with a sticky backing with two "guide" pins...they just stick on.
