Have a 95 Coupe. I have read a few postings on replacing the steering rack. Most say not to difficult to do, however in looking at the task, getting to the steering shaft to rack connection (intermediate shaft) first removing the plastic cover looks impossible without removing most of the front of the engine. Also the two of three bolts on the clamp that hold hold the rack in place look a bit difficult to say the least to get at. Can this be done on jack stands?? Anyone done this on their back?
