Does anyone have dimensioned drawings of the engine and transaxle for the C5?
Or, for starters, does anyone know the length from the front of the transaxle to the centerline of the drive yokes? Same question for the engine: front of the engine, to the face where the bellhousing mounts? And the length of a bellhousing to mate the two?
Basically, I want to know the length from the front of the engine to the axle centerline, if the torque tube were eliminated. I want to build a street rod with a mid-engined configuration, and I need to know if I can wedge a LSx engine and C5 transaxle behind the seats, without making the length of the chassis a problem, or pushing the driver too far forward.
Thanks for any help,
Joe
