Yellow L81
Georgia L81 Restoration from St. Louis
It was all original and in good shape. I puchased the car off E-bay motors and it took me two winters to restore the underside, but all it needs now is carpet, seatcovers and a paint job. Original rebuilt engine 9.0:1 compression, three angle valve job, fly cut heads done by Acworth Machine shop. Comp Cam 250/258. Stock manifold. Rochester carb from Guaranteed Carburetors and I set it up per Lars Grimsrud's modifications. D.U.I. Hi-Performance distibutor. New ECM with a Hypertech Stage2 power chip. 700R4 rebuilt with a Corvette servo, shift kit and 13 vane updated pump. Bowtie Overdrive crossmember. G&S mufflers installed a 2 1/2" dual exhaust system with turbo mufflers. American driveshaft balanced and shortend my drive shaft 3". Mono spring rear, Epoxy Coil springs front, Bilstein Shocks, trailing arms etc. to much to list. The total cost, parts and machine shop was: $5000.00
