Reuben, I keep hoping that by adding H2O they will grow up to be big Callaways.
I have not had much time to work on the models until the last week or so. My focus has been on the book thing. I have finally fit the chassis to the C7R. Finding the wheels for the cars are biggest challange. I have made the prototypes out of dental stone, because it is easy to carve and is very strong. The side-skirts for the LM are the next project. Once the prototypes are done, I will make molds in medium rubber and pour the parts in resin. I hope to make it like a kit. With minor modifications to a 1996 diecast Corvette. I made a complete car last summer, but left it in Italy for a friend. I was not happy with the car anyway. I needed to start all over on the LM. The C7R is the big project. I have the body 90%. It is in dental stone as well, but to make the final buck for reproduction I need to perfect it in resin. The first ones will be curb-side, with out interiors. As time permits, I will start the full chassis prototyping. It may take me a couple of years to complete that project. Do you have any interesting Callaway models?
Take care, Merry X-mas to all of the Callaway Club.....mike
