Right rear side marker light is out?

This light is out on my 1989 coupe.....do I have to replace the whole unit or does it take a bulb? It seems like everyone is selling a whole new lense when I try searching for a bulb?

Any help would be great.

A bulb is all you need. There's no need to replace the entire assembly.

Todd,
Another thing to remember is, like all (or most) bulb assemblys on Vettes, the bulb socket will have a lock that must be depressed before turning. Also, make sure the car is cooled down before attempting the replacement because you will have to wedge your arm up between the muffler and the fender glass. Just a couple hints.....
