rim paint color???

well, not much to do in the way of driving with the crappy weather. now would be a good time to touch up my rims, i guess. can anyone spec for me the correct factory paint color? and where one might find it? the car is a '71 lt1 vert, war bonnet yellow.

Argent Silver

I believe the color for your wheels is Argent Silver. I could not tell you the PPG numbers or Dupont if you were going to mix and spray.

However, if you want to buy spray paint and "shake and shoot" lots of resto places have it. The Paddock, OPGI and others sell it for Chevelle and Nova rally wheels.

I just used the spray stuff, Rally Wheel paint, from Corvette Central.....works for me......not trying to date code/match paint.....

Argent Silver is correct. I've got the OEM codes somewhere around here. I'll try to dig them out.
