hi guys! just wondering if

17x9.5 + 54mm rim would fit ok on my 79? im hearing that i would need to buy off set trailing arms and spacers. is that true? i saw Z06 rims i really like. thanks!!​

It really depends on the offset of the wheel. In some cases your will need a spacer. Mine car has 18x9 in the rear, but with zero wheel offset. see attached photo. I would suggest you try the wheels on your car before you buy them.
