Road noise

Just got the vette this week. So today was the first day i took it out for a ride since i drove it home. When i was driving my vette today i felt and heard what i think might be road noise. Could it be the tires? And if it is what do you recommend as far tires go? Tires are 50% or better. I will be taken it in to my mechanic for a full checkup and see what he recommends. Also, should i be concerned about the tire pressure sensors if i decide to change the tires and what do you guys recommend i should go with?

You didn't mention what tires are on the car. It makes a difference, as does the age.

Tell the tire guy that there ARE sensors INSIDE the wheels. They break them if they are not warned.

Road noise? Only road noise I ever heard was MY horn. Pull out in front of someone, then honk, thereby letting them know your intentions, and DON'T listen to their response (which was usually sign language anyway )
