The Coastal Empire Club (Buccaneer Region SCCA) is hosting an auto-x at Roebling Road Raceway on Saturday, October 13th. The cost is $40 SCCA members/ $50 non-SCCA members for five (5) runs on the track if you pre-register on their website (click on the "Solo" tab). (Registration the day of the event costs an additional $5.) Your entry fee includes lunch between the morning and afternoon sessions.
All classing per SCCA rules. The morning session typically includes all Stock, Street Prepared, and Street Tire classes while everyone else runs in the afternoon (unless entry levels require a change to balance out the runs groups). Trophies are awarded for this event, but the software will bump classes to have a minimum of five (5) entries per award class. (They use Axware which has the capability of Paxing the bumped classes so you’re not competing just on raw time.)
The gates will open at 7:30AM, with onsite registration available by 7:45AM. The course will be open for walking from 7:30AM-drivers’ meeting (and again during the lunch break). Drivers meeting at 9AM and cars running by 9:30AM. For those of you traveling longer distances, Coastal Empire will continue to take late entries after the Drivers meeting for another additional $5 until the end of the first heat.
Please forward all specific questions about this event to Don Johnson, Coastal Empire Club's Solo Events Chair. If you have any general questions, I'll try to answer them here on the forum so all can see. Thanks!
