Ruff Racing Wheels...Anybody?
I love my original wheels...BUT...I saw a set of Ruff Racing R280's in Gunmetal color at a local outfitter the other day. Held up next to my Black Sapphire '89...DAMN!!!

They absolutely sparked the look of the old girl beyond belief.

Does anybody have any experience with the Ruff Racing wheels...especially the R280's? I know nothing about them

I'm in the same boat, have a 94, can't seem to find any C4's with Ruff Racing wheels....did you get them? I wanted to get the 280's or 281's...post a pic if you got them!

Thanks. Guess I should have clarified. I know what the wheels look like, I was looking for a pic of the 281's on a C4. No worries, I've asked everywhere, appears no one is running them.

Nice wheels. What sizes are you looking for. I run 19" rims all around rite now,and i lowered the car 3 inches also. But i think like the c5 and up,a staggered rim size gives the car the perfect rake. I'll be changing my wheels soon,18 inch front,19 inch rear. Just something for you to think about.
c5... 17 front 18 rear
c6... 18 front 19 rear
c6 zr-1 19 front 20 rear..

Have any pics you can share? What size 19 inch are you running? I live in NJ, was going to do 20" rear, 19" front, but am worried a 305/25/20 tire is too low profile for NY / NJ. I hit one pothole I'm toast. I have the stock setup now, 285/40/17 rear, but want to get a fatter tire....appreciate the advice! See your in Hawaii, the roads there (at least on Maui going to Hana) weren't that great either!

Yea,the roads here are brutal. I don't care though..lol My c5 as 1 1/2 inch off the ground, was awesome,i did crack a rocker panel once though.
I bent one of my 19's that are pictured below, and that was with a 30 series tire. About $150 to fix it. My rims are 8.5 inches wide. Tires are 245/35/19 front... 265/30/19 rear. I want wider rims,so thats why i'm going to change them. I thought about 19/20's,but will go with 18/19 instead. These are old pics, the car is an inch lower, front tires partially tucked, rears even with fender lip,the top and b pillar are now black. And i had to put my dog to sleep. Last year sucked for me! :L
