run flats

I would like your input.
Has anyone ever changed to regular high performance tires and discontinued the use of the runflats. If so, what brand?
What happens with the sensors?
Do you care around a can of "goop" to use until you can get to
a tire store. Does that stuff really work?

If you still have a spare tire (some cars with run flats came with the 'spare tire delete' option), then put whatever regular tire on it you like.

Keep the tire pressure sensors and use them. It's nice to know if you have a nail in the tire whether they are run flats or not.

If I needed new tires on my C4 right now, I'd take a close look at the new GoodYear F1 GS D3. It's not a run flat.
