Last week I gutted the cats and now it appears that my engine is running about 10 to 12 degrees hotter, normally I run at 195 to 200 now I am running at 209. Can gutting the cats possible cause this? I have a 165 stat and the fans generally kick in at around 170 temps. Any suggestions? I live in florida it was about 89 degrees today about par for the course here.
