I'm looking at fitting some track rims and tires on my '99 and was wondering what will I get on the DIC if I run them without active tire pressure sensors? Do you get an error code all the time? If so, any way to disable it?

Thanks in advance for your input!

C4C5,

Thank you for the information. Do you know if there is any way to disable the DIC warning
from coming up at each key insertion, or do I just have to live with it?

Thanks...Joe

Where can I find the reset button?

I have 2 bad sensors (Bad parenting I guess) so my SLTPWS light comes on all the time. What I did was remove the bulb.

HI there,
The reset button is on the DIC control panels, the bottom button.
As for the options, you can only disable it from the module, using a Tech 2.
However, this is from 2k1 to present date.
You cannot reset this option on the earlier model.

I have a 2003 C5 coupe and run Z06 wheels and tires on it and get no messages. When I pull up the tire pressures they all read 27 ????????
