Talked to the owner for a second and asked him what number his was.

When he pulled away, I was very surprised because I expected the exhaust to have more of a rumble than my L98. His tone was actually quite wimpy sounding.

How restrictive is the LT4 exhaust compared to the L98 exhaust stock vs. stock?

LT4 exhaust is less restrictive than an L98 exhaust...

-don't forget the miles though... if you put a lot of miles on your vette, it tends to get louder.

Hey, I never knew or even thought about that. Why is that so?

The mufflers are packed with (usually) Fiberglass... the fiberglass either 'blows out' or gets matted over time, which makes the car louder.
