Scrolling Message Center on Corvettes

You know when you turn your car on and you get the scrolling message that dispaly's Chevrolet Corvette. I seen in a car show in Anihiem , CA a 2004 had his own message scrolling "Beats a Ford Anyday". I was wondering does anyone know how this is done? Just curious

The way I understand it is you can't do it on a C5.

I've heard of the personalized message being available on a C6 but not a C5. It seems plausible someone would come up with an aftermarket gadget for the C5 but I've not seen one.

I couldn't do it when I had my C5, but I can on my C6.

You use the option and reset buttons on the right side of the instruments. You can see them through the steering wheel.This is not a very good picture but its the only one I have on this computer.
