I was all set to Zoop Seal my new polished manifold this weekend with my Zoop Seal,JR, kit,but when I opened the box it seems I waited too long. Most of the required liquid components within have solidified and/or dried up.No auto parts place I called within 30 miles has it.So,in case you havent heard of it,Zoop Seal supposedly stops oxidation & reduces maint. for up to 2 years. Are there any suggestions on any other comparible product I can use? I spose I could just spray it down with clear coat, but would that hold up on an engine air intake manifold? ;shrug

My understanding is clear coats will yellow with age, especially someplace hot like under the hood. Too bad the Zoop dried out.

Have you used the ZOOP before? I havent. I was planning on doing my valve covers, manifold & wheels. The 1st 2 would be easy, cuz they havent been used. Anyway,I wanted to use it on the manifold B4 Monday, when I wanted to install.Looks like it'll have to wait for an online order to arrive, now:W

I haven't but Larry ( IH2LOSE ) and a couple of the guys on the C1-C2 forum did their polished aluminum air filter covers with Zoop. Looked great and stayed looking great. The only alum I have under the hood is the valve covers so I figured it wasn't worth getting the Zoop.
