Does anyone now what would cause my driver seat back to not lay foward? One day it worked, and the next day it didn't.
Thanks for any info!

Yes, there is an anti-forward motion mechanism on the inside seat hinge. Might be the outside, been a long time since I fixed one. It works so that the seat back doesn't slam forward in the event of a crash. You need to remove the seat, then the six accorn head cap nuts, remove the seat moulding and then the six bolts that hold the seat back to the seat bottom. once you remove the 'crash hinge' you may or may not see the problem, ( I had one go bad on me, and despite a through exam I never figured out why it was bad) It works so that you can fold the seat back forward slowly, but in the event of a crash it locks in position. You'll need to get a new one or get a used one from a corvette wrecking yard like, www.contempoarycorvette.com or find one at one of the corvette aftermarketers. it's a simple job!

It's really simple, believe me. The mechanism is stamped together and acts like a hinge, but it got a snap stop and a pin. When it's worn out the seat will at times get stuck in the forward position and won't fold back or it won't fold forward like it's suppose to because of the locking system being worn. just replace it and you troubles are over.
