On a 1982, my passenger seat will not drop forward.

It seems like the inside hinge is stuck.

I read somewhere that they are similiar to the new type seat belts,

they tighten when move fast like in a collision,but normally you can

just push it forward and it will lay down.

I can't find anything in the shop manual.

Anybody know how to fix it,or where I can get information on the seat hinges?

Do a search on the hinges....we had one not to long ago about the same thing and one of the hinges had locked.
The thread will tell you how to unlock it.

I have looked thru many posts and have found 2 similar so far,neither one was answered.

So if anyone else has an answer,please reply.
