I am getting ready to R/R the seat belts in my 78 and would like to know if a special tool is needed to remove the attaching bolts?

thanks,

Regular hand tools and some elbow grease will do the job. Be advised the bolts can be stubborn, so you may want a dose of your favorite penetrating oil.

The AIM is helpful but is not a How-To.

Lots of torque because they tend to be rusted in good. Get a good penetrating lube like PB Blaster to help break that down first. Be patient and try not to strip the bolt heads as it is very difficult to get out then (ask me how I know). I ended up having to get mine torched out
