At one point in the '60's there was an option available on the Ford T Bird that would sequentially blink the rear turn signals when signalling for a turn. Has anyone seen or heard of some electronic gizmo that would do this on a C5 ?

I know what you are talking about, and I've seen it on several cars in my area. I dont know what it takes to get it done though. With the level of computer control in a C5, I'd bet all you would need would be a tweak of the cpu.

I do not remember the name of the vendor, however there is a company that does sells an option that you install that does exactly what you are talking about. I will try and dig up the name.

As far as the 60 T-Birds go it was not an option it was standard equipment starting in 64.

You mean like this?

Thanks for posting this link. This is sooooo cool! :cool

JonM thanks for the reply. After I posted this inquiry I checked out "sequential turn signals" on Yahoo. There were a number of hits, but this seems to be the only guy doing it on Corvettes.

Thanks again!

looks good let ud know how they work. and how hard the install is.

Has anyone installed this kit on an '02 or '03 ? The company says the turn signal flasher should be modified to eliminate a problem with the "bulb out" sensing circuit. I checked the service manual to see how to get the flasher out of my car and it turns out you have to dismantle the whole dash, console, glove box, knee bolster etc to get to it. That took all the fun out of the project for me!

sequential signals

I bought the ones off of ebay. (The link posted earlier) approx. 1 year ago. It took two tries to get working modules but they work great now. The cust. service was excellent as well. Never a problem and they look great. Seems like people want to let you over easier with 'em on also.
