Serious Bog while cornering???

Does anyone have this problem:
Half a tank or less,more than half throttle,turning corners my car violently BOGS like it's going to stall, as soon as I let off the gas it goes back to normal. Feels like it's running out of fuel, I installed a new filter and in-tank strainer and it didn't help. What else should I be looking for???
1990 Coupe 6spd,Z51,FX3
It's never happened with more than a 1/2 tank, and it runs normal in a straight line.
Any advice would be welcome,thanks

A common issue with C4's - for hard cornering, you need to keep the tank more than 1/2 full. Autocrossers will verify this. It's happened to me more than once.

Just for GP's, check the fuel pressure also. But, more than likely it's the dreaded low tank during hard cornering.

I'm having the same prob,so what are yall saying we have to live with this?there's nothing we could do?ive changed my filter twice!whats a good way to check fuel pressure?

Cool Blue, lets see.............you have an '84

First, you need a fuel pressure gauge, then
connect a " t" fitting to the bottom of the gauge and 2 pieces of short rubber hose to the end of the "t" fitting and install between the 2 TBI line fittings.

Start the car and the fuel pressure reading should be between 9 and 13 psi.

If you have no pressure or if it is below 9 or above 13, there are a multitude of things to check, so if that is the case, get back on here and we'll go from there.
