All three of these error messages have come up on my display on three different occasions. It goes away each time, only to pop up again after a week or so. My dealer says he can't find anything wrong with it. I told him to check the codes and the history codes but he says there is nothing there. Anyone ever seen this?

Chances are it is a problem with your Electronic Brake Control Module. All of those systems are tied in with your brakes. And, unless you clear them, the history code for this condition will stay in memory for 100 ignition cycles if the problem does not happen again. On start-up 101 it will disappear from the history unless manually cleared earlier. Of course if the problem happens again, the counter resets to 0.

Next time the DIC shows those conditions, check your DTCs. I am almost sure you will see C1214. I have had the same problem. There is a diagnostic in the service manual your dealer should follow to properly diagnose the problem. If it is intermittent, it sounds as if it could be a loose ground.

You were correct, Randy. C1214H (history, since it was not showing the errors at the time). I'll inform my dealer or better yet, find one that can check the codes... that code should have been there when they looked at it since I did not clear any myself and had not started it more than 20 - 30 times before they looked at it.

Thanks very much!
