I have a 1994 Vette I put a 383 and Bill B trans in.

All was well till one day on my ride home from the local car show the car started sputtering and miss firing. Limped home pulled the plugs to see they were wet with fuel. I swapped the plugs and the opti for a new one from GM, and the car ran great. Took it for a cruise around town and it sputtered and died.

I pushed it home and later replaced my PCM with another reflashed unit. The car ran but would constantly sputter and want to die. I replaced the battery and now it won't start.

I can smell fuel, and I grounded the spark plugs and can see I'm getting a nice blue spark. I pulled a H62 code.

I did the ICM connector test listed in the service manual. Since I did the swap I have had a Service ASR light and am starting to think I shouldn't ignore it anymore. I also have had a SYS light in the past but not recently. I'm at the point where I'd like to get the car to a professional garage in hope I've over looked something.

I removed the A/C with the swap. FYI, If you want a list of mods let me know maybe something is missing?

Any Info or suggestions will help.

Are the wires PROPERLY routed, and placed in the routing looms, since you were checking them?

If not, and if any one is near something that it is NOT supposed to be near, you can get EMI interference, same as a nuke, and it will make for rough running, and will trip up false codes in solid state electronics, INCLUDING the ABS and ASR modules.

I had a sys flash intermittently on my 92. Ran every test I could find in the fsm and chased the problem for weeks. It turned out to be the ECM. Got it rebuilt and no more problem!:)
