I recently purchased a 2000 coupe, and would like some recommendations on a safe, honest, reliable place to take my car when it is in need of service/repair. I'm preparing for future emergencies! My location is central Delaware, am willing to travel if needed.

You will likely be taking it to a Chevy Dealership. They should have a Vette Specialist that has been schooled on the car. Normally they are the only ones that get the honor of working on a Corvette. Today’s cars are hooked-up to computer for diagnostics checking. Take your special vehicle to the specialist.
