After two years restoration, my 68 had her debut show over Fathers Day weekend in South Texas. She competed against 73 classics of all type. I'm proud to say that she won Best of Show. The show presidents wife told me in private that even though I just received the Best of Show trophy, that my car actually swept every category, but they have a rule that one car can't take all. I guess they have to share the love... but it was still nice to know.

For me, the best part of winning was that the Best of Show category was judged by the contestants themselves which meant my peers thought it stood out on top of their own. That's a great feeling and means a lot more to me!

Oh... another cool thing. She is going to be on next years show shirt.

I have a couple of photo's attached.

Congratulations on a sweet car and a deserving win.

Got any more pictures from the show?

Thanks for your kind words... It really does mean a lot coming from other Vette owners. I have to also thank the gang here for answering several of my questions over the last couple of years to get me over those technical humps. Thanks!

Vanity Plate Bob.... Here is a link to a photo site. There is a folder called First Show.

Dirt Farmer... I'll have to dig up a CD and load the before pics on the same sight. It will take me a couple weeks as I'm currently on a business trip.
