She's gone!!!!

Dropped my baby off today to the mechanic for a few days (new plug wires,all the fluids changed,valve cover gaskets) and it just does not feel right having her not sitting in the gargage.This is her 1st stayover away from us I hope she's doing OK!

BTW-Found a good trusted mechanic who does nothing but pretty much custom cars from a friend who is doing all the above for $200

That was the plan originally but I'm also smart enough to know my limits mechanically.I thought I was somewhat mechanically inclined till I opened the hood of that Vette

Are you asking for sympathy because your baby is gone for a few days or are you bragging because you are getting all that work done for $200?
Most of the rest of us do our own work of this type because we would miss OUR cars and we want to make sure the work is done properly.
I would worry if someone told me they would do all that for $200. Can hardly buy quality parts for that much. Are you sure the quote was not for labor only?

I started this thread because I miss my car!This guy is very highly spoke of and does custom work on a friend of mine's Mustang.I bought all the parts he's installing
