I have shielded spark plug wires in my radio equiped 427/390 '67, They are properly grounded to the valve covers but are loose in the ignition shielding. I know that they are supposed to bew grounded to the shielding, but don't know how it can be done easily. Anyone know?

On my 66 the wires have a ring terminal on the distributor end of the wires, then in the sheilding for the distributor there is a lug that the ring terminals mount to under a nut.

Make sense, although my shielding doesn't have a lug, or even a screw hole other than for mounting. Where is the lug located?

There's a little bracket with a threaded stud on it welded to the inside of the shield on both sides; you collect all four ring terminals from each side's wires, push them down over the stud, and they're secured with a nut - see scan below from the A.I.M. :)
