Hey everyone,

I was looking around and came across B&M's Shift Improver Kit for automatics. I doubt many people here have put it in a 700R4, but does anyone have any experience with these kits? I'd love some first hand experience with them. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth the time and effort.

Thanks everyone!

I recently put a kit in my 350 lock-up and the shifts are firm a I recommend the kit from Transgo (350c-1&2). I did put a kit in a 700-R4 in a streetrod I have and it also has firm shifts and I do like how the tranny performs. While we were in the trans; we installed a pressure switch in the 350 lock-up that raised the lock up engagement to about 40 mph. (no more lugging)...
I did have help on the install, but it was not difficult...Good luck

I maybe too late, but if you're going to spend the bucks for a trans shift kit, spend your bucks wisely. Trans-Go and Superior are way cheaper than B&M and work perfectly. I've never used a B&M kit, just because they want 2x the money. And Superior has the parts to upgrade/improve the TV system. Reverse boost valve, HD 2-4 servo and the like..
