Help Please. '65 stingRay, 4 speed stick.-I can not get into 1st, second, rev. or any gear. would this be a clutch problem or transmission? clutch goes in smooth but can't get it to go into any gear.

I would start by checking the linkage rods. Put the shifter in neutral and see if the three shift levers (1-2, 3-4 and reverse) are also in their neutral position. You may have a bent linkage rod also. When you start the car is it in neutral or is it in a gear? Good luck
